Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training.
• 5+ years of relevant progressive experience.
• Registered Dietitian (RD), Certified Dietary Manager, or Dietetic Technician, Registered.
• Accurate knowledge of CMS, Title 22, and California Retail Food Code regulations.
• Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy principles and clinical nutrition for acute care.
• Familiarity with dietary and nutrition policies and UC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee diet office operations, formula room and human milk room.
• Assign work, monitor performance and guide staff.
• Manage call center operations for five campuses, including remote/hybrid staff.
• Ensure service recovery and patient satisfaction within department resources.
• Schedule and replace staff while coordinating with managers.
• Interpret policies into processes to achieve department goals.
