Job summary

Saber Health Group is seeking a dedicated Food Service Manager for a full-time role at Grove Park Health & Rehab Center, Asheville, NC. You will manage the food service department, including staffing, ordering, meal preparation, delivery, and sanitation, in alignment with care plans and regulatory standards.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a state-certified food handler level II or higher.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent and a Food Handler level II or similar food safety certification per state requirement.
• Must be a certified food service manager or have national certification in food service management.
• An associate’s or higher degree in food service management or hospitality with relevant coursework is preferred.
• Meets state requirements for food service managers where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the food service department, including staffing, ordering, meal prep, delivery, and sanitation.
• Ensure adherence to physician orders, resident care plans, and federal/state/local standards.
• Supervise food service staff and maintain quality nutritional services daily.
