Job summary

Saber Health Group at Grove Park Health & Rehab Center in Asheville, NC is seeking a dietary team member to help provide comfort, care, and connection through meals to residents.

This full-time role involves managing the food service operation, staffing, ordering, meal prep, safety, and sanitation to ensure quality nutrition and staff supervision. The position follows a Monday–Friday daytime schedule with pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, and Food Handler Level II or equivalent safety certification.
• Must be a certified food service manager or hold a national certification for food service management and safety.
• Or have an associate’s or higher degree in food service management or hospitality with relevant coursework.
• Must meet state requirements for food service managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of the food service department including staffing, ordering, meal prep, delivery, and sanitation.
• Ensure quality nutritional services daily and supervise food service staff.
• Adhere to community policies and applicable federal, state, and local standards.
