Job summary

Winona Health is seeking a Floor Technician for 2nd shift (2:30pm–11:00pm) in Winona, Minnesota. The role includes floor stripping, waxing, scrubbing and buffing, plus waste removal and window cleaning across patient care areas and public spaces.

Starting pay range is $16.00–$19.00 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, disability coverage, retirement planning, and paid time off. This is a full-time position in Environmental Services, with internal growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• High School/GED Equivalent.
• Previous floor care experience, including stripping, waxing, scrubbing, and buffing various floor types, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environments through floor care and environmental services.
• Perform waste removal duties including infectious and hazardous waste, sharps disposal, recycling, trash, and linen transport.
• Clean interior and exterior windows; follow infection control protocols and HIPAA guidelines.
