Job summary

Winona Health Services is seeking a Floor Technician for the Environmental Services team. The role supports a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare environment through specialized floor care and related cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities include stripping, waxing, scrubbing, and buffing floors, waste handling (infectious and hazardous), window cleaning, and adherence to infection control and HIPAA guidelines. The position is 3rd shift with every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Independent work with limited supervision.
• Previous floor care experience including stripping, waxing, scrubbing, and buffing floors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe healthcare environment through floor care and environmental services.
• Strip, wax, scrub, and buff floors of various types.
• Handle infectious and hazardous waste and assist with sharps disposal.
• Clean interior and exterior windows throughout the facility.
• Follow infection control protocols, safety standards, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, residents, and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
