AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking a qualified Finance Assistant to set payment arrangements with patients and physicians, manage accounts, and support financial reviews. The role involves ensuring accurate billing, coordinating with departments, and preparing contracts for patients.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience in a medical office, knowledge of Medicaid and related programs, and proficiency in CPT/ICD9 coding. Onsite schedule is Monday-Thursday 8:30-5, Friday 7:30-4.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required].
• 1+ year experience in a medical office setting and financial assistance knowledge [Required].
• Knowledge of medical terminology, Coding, CPT, and ICD9 coding.

Responsabilités

• Sets payment arrangements with uninsured and/or underinsured patients and physicians' offices.
• Schedules payments and ensures accurate financial statements for audits.
• Reviews accounts proposed for transfer to collections and advises leadership.
• Prepares contracts for patients and gathers required financial information by phone or interview.
