Job summary

Bradford Health Services, a leading provider of addiction treatment, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Birmingham, AL. This full-time role focuses on preparing and coordinating financial analyses, forecasts, and budget processes to support strategic decisions and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a finance or accounting degree with 3+ years in healthcare finance, strong Excel skills, and experience with GAAP/SEC regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
• Master’s degree or CPA/CFA certification preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in accounting or finance, preferably healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Detail statistical reporting on staffing, operations, FTEs, revenue
• Coordinate and communicate budgets
• Coordinate annual budget preparation and communication
• Identify trends and developments in the business environment
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and recommend changes
• Assist in training basic budget understanding for non-financial managers
• Consolidate reports for rollup reporting within and between divisions
• Partner with Contract division to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement rates
• Present monthly or quarterly reports to Senior Management
• Weekly/daily trend analysis
• Prepare Board level reporting packages
• Complete other duties as assigned
