Job summary

UCLA Health is seeking a Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment Project Coordinator to join the Real Estate, Planning, Design & Construction team. You will drive small capital projects end-to-end, coordinating with clients, vendors, and consultants in a complex healthcare setting.

The role requires experience in FF&E, regulatory compliance, and project management, with responsibilities spanning procurement, design, construction, and move coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in design, construction, or FF&E.
• Knowledge of healthcare construction regulations including OSHPD (HCAI), California Building Code, Title 22, and ADA/accessibility standards.
• Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with deadlines.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication, with collaboration across clinical, administrative, and vendor stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage small capital projects end-to-end, with budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate FF&E procurement, move planning, and vendor communication.
• Lead design, plan check, bidding, and construction phases with ownership of documentation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and closeout documentation including warranties and O&M manuals.
