Job summary

Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glade Valley in Walkersville, Maryland is seeking a maintenance technician to join our team. You will perform general maintenance of the property, including grounds and the physical plant, carry out routine repairs, and implement preventive measures to keep the facility in good working condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long Term Care Facility preferred.
• Working understanding of physical plant repairs/preventive maintenance and grounds maintenance.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance of the property, including grounds and physical plant
• Performs repairs, maintenance, and preventive measures to ensure the facility is in good working condition
• Conducts routine checks of maintenance request logs and performs follow-up tasks
• Maintains working list of all medical equipment in the facility and service/repair records
• Performs preventive maintenance on medical equipment in the facility
• Follows manufacturer's specifications regarding repair and preventive maintenance of medical and other equipment in the facility
