Job summary

Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glade Valley in Walkersville, Maryland is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will maintain the property, perform routine repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the facility operates smoothly and safely.

You will manage maintenance requests, track service records for medical equipment, and follow manufacturer guidelines for repair and preventive tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience at a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long Term Care Facility preferred.
• Working understanding of physical plant repairs and grounds maintenance.
• Valid drivers license is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance of the property, including grounds and physical plant.
• Performs repairs, maintenance, and preventive measures to keep the facility in good working condition.
• Maintains service/repair records for medical equipment and keeps a working list of equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance on medical equipment as needed.
• Follows manufacturers’ specifications for repair and preventive maintenance.

Join our wonderful team as a Maintenance Technician today! We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our dynamic team at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glade Valley in Walkersville, Maryland.

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Technician at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glade Valley, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance of the property, including grounds and physical plant. Your duties will include, but not limited to, performing routine repairs, maintenance, and preventive measures to ensure the facility is in good working condition.

Responsibilities:

• Performs general maintenance of the property, including grounds and physical plant
• Performs repairs, maintenance, and preventive measures to ensure the facility is in good working condition
• Conducts routine checks of maintenance request logs and performs follow-up tasks
• Maintains working list of all medical equipment in the facility and service/repair records
• Performs preventive maintenance on medical equipment in the facility
• Follows manufacturer's specifications regarding repair and preventive maintenance of medical and other equipment in the facility

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED diploma
• Previous experience with a Skilled Nursing Facility, or Long Term Care Facility preferred
• A working understanding of physical plant repairs/preventive maintenance and grounds maintenance
• Valid driver's license
