Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to perform a range of basic to advanced repairs across multiple hospital campuses. You will manage work orders, inventory, and construction-related tasks while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards.

The role requires reading blueprints, operating hand and power tools, and coordinating with a team to ensure timely, accurate maintenance and campus-specific duties at various sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years previous general maintenance or construction work.
• Knowledge of healthcare setting and ability to read blueprints or schematic drawings desirable.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs basic and advanced repairs from start to finish in a timely manner utilizing the automated Maintenance Request System.
• Acting as part of a team, demonstrates knowledge of tasks and ability to assist at all campuses.
• Demonstrates ability to safety use all hand, power tools and testing equipment needed for repairs.
• Follows directions and independently performs tasks required with construction and renovation projects in a safe and efficient manner.
• Accurately reading blue prints or schematic drawings, performs duties required with little or no supervision.
• Able to perform campus specific duties and requirements when working at each site.
• Demonstrates ability to set priorities.
