Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform basic and advanced repairs across our campuses. This role requires independence, safe tool handling, and the ability to read blueprints or schematic drawings.

The position offers a 2:30 PM–11:00 PM schedule, Monday–Friday, with a base pay range of $25.00–$35.00 per hour. Prior healthcare facility experience and a MA driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in general maintenance or construction.
• Healthcare setting knowledge desirable.
• Ability to read blueprints or schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs basic and advanced repairs from start to finish using the Maintenance Request System.
• Works as part of a team and supports at all campuses.
• Safely uses hand, power tools and testing equipment.
• Follows directions and conducts construction/renovation tasks safely and efficiently.
• Reads blueprints/schematics with little supervision.
• Performs campus-specific duties at each site and sets priorities.
• Retrieves and closes out work orders accurately and timely.
• Maintains stock and supplies with cost/supply considerations.
• Adheres to safety and cleanliness guidelines across sites.
