Job summary

Apploi is seeking a maintenance assistant to support daily maintenance operations within a healthcare facility. You will help ensure safe, clean and well-maintained resident areas while collaborating with the Maintenance Director and other staff.

The role requires basic safety training, effective communication, and the ability to work a rotating schedule including evenings or weekends as needed in a 24/7 facility.

Qualifications

• One year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director with day-to-day maintenance functions.
• Assist with daily maintenance services in resident living areas.
• Maintain safety policies and use protective equipment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Attend departmental meetings and follow sanitation procedures.
