Job summary

Fundamental seeks a Maintenance Assistant to support our Facility team in maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming environments for patients and families in our care. The role covers general upkeep, compliance with safety standards, and hands-on tasks under the Maintenance Director.

We offer competitive pay ($18.00–$20.00/hr), full-time hours, and benefits; prior healthcare maintenance experience is a plus, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; HVAC cert is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety regulations; valid driver's license required.
• Maintenance experience preferred, especially in a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director with the overall safety, appearance, and maintenance of the facility in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local requirements at all times
• Take part in painting, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, grounds maintenance, and preventative maintenance
