Job summary

Citadel Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team. You will perform daily upkeep of interior and exterior areas, address maintenance requests, and support the environmental services team to ensure a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.

You will communicate with the Administrator, lead inspections, and perform preventive maintenance while managing inventory and safety procedures to keep the facility in top condition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience performing maintenance in a healthcare facility or industrial setting required.
• Associate degree, trade program certificate, or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Administrator to ensure the facility's systems function.
• Leads facility inspections and meets with inspectors as needed.
• Performs snow and ice removal as directed.
• Performs minor repairs to tile, wallpaper, painting, and drywall.
• Maintains lighting fixtures and repairs doors/windows.
• Maintains equipment and performs preventative maintenance.
• Maintains accurate inventory and documentation.
• Follows safety principles and supports the environmental services team.
