University Behavioral Health of Denton is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a range of tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and inspections of facilities equipment. This role involves preventive maintenance and basic janitorial duties with minimal supervision.

Additionally, the technician will transport patients as needed, provide supervised interactions, and model safety practices in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a variety of hand and power tools with proper safety precautions.
• Experience in building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC tasks and inspections of physical plant equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and janitorial duties as assigned.
• Transport patients to and from the facility while ensuring safety and supervision as required.
