Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a Business Office Manager to support daily accounting functions for the facility in accordance with accepted accounting principles for nursing facility operations.

The role involves handling invoices, reports, and files; monitoring accounts receivable; and assisting in monthly financial statements and system changes as needed. Ideal candidates have at least three years in bookkeeping or accounting and Medicaid/Medicare experience.

Qualifications

• Must have at least three (3) years’ experience in bookkeeping or accounting practices.
• Must have experience with Medicaid and Medicare.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the day-to-day functions of the accounting department.
• Maintain and facilitate all invoices; reports; accounting files; monitor and collect accounts receivables; and proper filing according to policies and procedures that govern the accounting functions of the facility.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements including balance sheet, income, and expense reports.
• Assist in planning and implementing changes in the accounting system as necessary or directed.

Education
