Medical Suites at Oak Creek is seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to keep a safe, comfortable, well-functioning environment for residents and staff in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, respond to requests, and support room preparation for admissions and discharges.

The ideal candidate has healthcare maintenance experience, can operate hand and power tools, and collaborates with teams to uphold OSHA standards and high care quality.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication in a professional, courteous manner.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests.
• Perform inspections of facility systems and report issues.
• Help maintain facility grounds and outdoor areas.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work; assist in emergencies such as power outages or plumbing issues.
• Ensure resident rooms, common areas, and staff areas are safe and functional.
• Assist with repairs and general building upkeep.
• Work with the Maintenance Director to prepare rooms for admissions and discharges.
• Help ensure OSHA and safety standards compliance.
