Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience preferred, but not necessary, will train. HVAC experience a plus.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies or personnel and the general public.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
• Follow maintenance schedules for respective shift or area.
• Report accidents and incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services for routine tasks in resident living areas.
• Follow HIPAA requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC) as directed.
• Keep work areas clean and equipment stored properly.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions to supervisor.
