Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance across our campuses and off-site properties. You will coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, and infrastructure projects to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable facilities.

This exempt, full-time role requires leadership, CMMS experience, and strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Facilities Management or related field.
• Valid driver's license.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
• CHFM certification preferred.
• Minimum three years' experience in healthcare facilities maintenance or related field.
• Experience using CMMS software.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and improvement activities for UMass Memorial Health campuses and off-site properties.
• Monitor CMMS for prioritization, assignment, and closure of maintenance activities.
• Track performance metrics and develop recommendations to improve service delivery and productivity.
• Supervise maintenance personnel and contractors to ensure safety and compliance.
• Perform routine inspections to identify deficiencies and opportunities for operational improvements.
