Job summary
UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance operations for hospital campuses and off-site properties. You will coordinate maintenance, manage CMMS workloads, and supervise staff and contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
A key focus is planning, regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality facilities service to patients and staff. The role requires an associate degree (bachelor's preferred), three years in healthcare facilities
Qualifications
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
- CHFM certification is a plus.
- Minimum three years in healthcare facilities maintenance or related field.
- Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with CMMS and building automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance, repair and improvement for facilities and infrastructure.
- Monitor CMMS activities for prioritization, assignment and closure.
- Analyze metrics to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise maintenance staff and contractors to ensure safety and quality.
- Perform routine inspections to identify deficiencies and opportunities.
