Job summary

AdventHealth in Merriam, Kansas, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to replace and repair patient room equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. You will respond to equipment failures, assist in installation of signage, and support facility improvements in a healthcare setting.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience preferred, and a valid Driver's License.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent or 5+ years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Replaces and repairs patient room equipment (lights, TVs, thermostats, telephones, curtain tracks, doors, door closers, wall base, flooring, ceiling tiles).
• Unplugs drains and repairs faucets and flush valves.
• Responds to electrical, HVAC, and plumbing failures.
• Maintains healthcare regulation compliance and supports quality improvement initiatives.

Associate (Preferred)
