Job summary
Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS is seeking a Hospital Maintenance Technician III to maintain and repair non-medical equipment and facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. You will perform inspections, respond to emergencies, and help keep the hospital safe and compliant.
This full-time role offers days shifts, a bonus option up to $5,000, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications
- Must troubleshoot, read schematics and/or blueprints.
- Certified and/or licensed in a trade relative to healthcare engineering (Steam Boiler, HVAC, electrical, etc).
- Valid state driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Repair & maintenance of equipment including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas and plant infrastructure.
- Preventative maintenance with regular inspections, lubricating motors, testing generators, and checking emergency lighting.
- Facility upkeep such as patching walls, painting, installing fixtures, and basic carpentry/electrical work.
- Ensure safety compliance, maintain equipment logs and drive as needed for company business.
