AdventHealth in the United States is seeking a maintenance tech to service patient room equipment, repair electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, and support facility improvements. The role requires hands-on repair skills and adherence to healthcare regulations.
You will replace components, maintain medical gas outlets, and assist in signage installation. Shift is 2nd or specified; supervision is provided by the facilities team in a faith-based health system.

Replaces and repairs patient room equipment such as light bulbs, televisions, thermostats, telephones, curtain tracks, doors, door closers, corner guards, wall base, floor coverings, and ceiling tiles. Unplugs drains and repairs faucets and flush valves. Responds to electrical, HVAC, and plumbing failures. Repairs medical gas outlets, carts, gurneys, IV stands, and appliances for patient use. Assists in the installation of signage and other wall-hung items. Provides maintenance support in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and facility improvement functions. Communicates with the manager and team regarding the progress of work and activities. Maintains an understanding of healthcare, federal, state, and local regulations and supports meeting the requirements. Participates in Quality Improvement initiatives. Maintains and replaces medical gases as needed in designated areas. Responds to equipment failures in the Boiler Room. Other duties as assigned.
