Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for the VCU Ambulatory Surgery Center on a 1st shift (7am–4pm, M-F) with occasional weekends. Salary ranges from $75K to $85K plus a $1,000.00 yearly supervisor bonus potential.

The role leads the maintenance department under the Director/Asst Director, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient operations across facilities.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in healthcare facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Experience with computerized work order systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and control maintenance department activities.
• Ensure timely completion and quality control of work.
• Maintain inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies; initiate requisitions.
• Cover responsibilities in absence of Director/Asst Director; share weekend duties.
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance; provide training and guidance.
• Prepare performance evaluations for assigned personnel.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repair projects with vendors/contractors; approve payments.
