Job summary

JLL is seeking a Specialist, Engineering Services in Greenfield, WI to supervise maintenance staff and manage base building and critical system equipment. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective operations in a healthcare facility setting.

You will oversee maintenance, plan preventive strategies, train staff, and coordinate with contractors to ensure minimal disruption and high safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational training in electrical, piping/plumbing, refrigeration, or HVAC
• 5+ years in healthcare facility/plant engineering maintenance
• Thorough understanding of Joint Commission and regulatory survey requirements
• Multi-skilled in at least two crafts (HVAC, fluid handling, mechanical, welding, electrical)
• Valid US Driver's License
• Able to climb ladders up to 40 feet and lift 60 lbs repeatedly
• Able to detect emergency alarms (auditory/visual)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct maintenance staff to ensure efficient completion of service requests with minimal disruption
• Implement and oversee preventive maintenance program and delegate tasks
• Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and perform root cause analyses
• Provide hands-on training on tool usage, safety procedures, troubleshooting, and professional standards
• Oversee contracted maintenance work and ensure warranty fulfillment and documentation
• Maintain inventory of tools and parts and process purchase orders
• Ensure compliance with hazardous material storage, usage and disposal policies
• Propose annual cost-saving repairs or energy/utility improvements
