Job summary

JLL is seeking a Specialist, Engineering Services to lead our healthcare facility maintenance team in Greenfield, WI. You will supervise installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of base building and critical systems, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and minimal disruption to operations.

Responsibilities include managing staff and contractors, conducting root-cause analyses, training technicians, maintaining inventories, and pursuing energy/use-cost savings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus trade/vocational schooling or apprenticeship in electrical, piping/plumbing, refrigeration, or HVAC.
• 5+ years of healthcare facility/plant engineering maintenance experience.
• Thorough understanding of Joint Commission and other regulatory survey requirements.
• Multi-skilled in at least two crafts (HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, mechanical, electrical).
• Valid US Driver's License
• Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet and lift 60 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to detect emergency alarms (auditory/visual)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct maintenance staff, ensuring efficient completion of service requests with minimal disruption
• Implement and oversee preventative maintenance program, schedule tasks, delegate
• Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and facilitate root-cause analyses
• Provide hands-on training on tool usage, safety procedures, troubleshooting, and standards
• Oversee contracted maintenance work and ensure documentation
• Maintain inventory of tools and equipment; prepare purchase orders
• Ensure compliance with hazardous material storage, usage, and disposal
• Recommend repairs and annual cost-saving initiatives related to energy/utilities
