Family Health Center in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a Facilities Manager to lead the Facilities Team, oversee strategy, staffing, vendor relationships, and financial and project management for building and grounds.

The role covers maintenance of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, safety, lighting, and compliance; you will manage budgets, schedule preventive maintenance, and coordinate with contractors to keep the facility safe and compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college; five+ years of supervisory experience.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Master plumber or licensed electrician desirable.
• Experience in construction project management from initial plan to renovation.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Facilities Team including coaching and mentoring to improve performance.
• Conduct monthly team meetings and manage performance reviews.
• Ensure health and safety obligations are met by staff and contractors.
• Oversee annual operating budget and financial delegations.
• Manage minor building projects and ensure projects stay within budget.
• Coordinate with vendors for on-site maintenance, estimates and repairs.
• Ensure building compliance requirements are met and up-to-date.
