Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee department operations, lead staff, and coordinate maintenance across the hospital facilities. The role emphasizes leadership, safety compliance, and timely project execution to support patient care.

Responsibilities include coordinating trades, managing budgets, and educating staff on building systems, with OSHA training and relevant certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or state journeyman licensure required; must obtain degree within 4 years if applicable.
• Two to three years' experience in operation and programming of Building Automation, Fire Alarm, HVAC, and electrical/electronic control systems.
• OSHA training required; MECH or CHFM certification and/or licensure preferred; health care experience a plus.

• Safety: Inspects, enforces safety protocols, conducts department drills.
• Financial: Manages daily activities within budget; assists Manager in annual budget projections.

• Quality: Maintains quality management and improvement initiatives; supports interdisciplinary performance.
