Job summary

MyMichigan Medical Group seeks a facilities supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations across the campus. You will supervise staff, allocate tasks, manage safety programs, and coordinate with other departments to ensure reliable equipment and safe patient care environments.

The role involves hands-on maintenance of plumbing, carpentry, mechanical systems, HVAC, and building security, with emphasis on problem-solving, budget awareness, and staff education.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or Journeyman licensure required; must obtain Associates Degree within 4 years or maintain licensure.
• OSHA training must be completed annually per Exposure Control Plan.
• Mech or CHFM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise staff; allocate daily tasks within department budget.
• Ensure safety, conduct drills and address unsafe conditions promptly.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance of plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, HVAC and security systems.
• Communicate repair needs to Operations Manager and coordinate with other departments.
• Provide staff education and participate in quality improvement activities.
