Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead operations for a healthcare portfolio in College Station, including one hospital and 15 clinics. The role focuses on optimizing building performance, preventive maintenance, and capital planning to support property management.

You will supervise a 14-person team, manage budgets and vendor relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and uphold CBRE's safety and service standards while delivering reliable operations for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience; a valid driver's license required.
• Facility management certification preferred.
• Experience staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Leadership skills to motivate team and improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Advanced math skills for financial calculations and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for a large healthcare portfolio including one hospital and 15 clinics.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 14 engineers and technicians.
• Develop, forecast, and manage operational budgets with detailed financial tracking.
• Coordinate facility service vendors (HVAC, pest control, landscaping, MEP).
• Direct preventive maintenance programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain site quality and safety, including Joint Commission readiness.
