Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history required.
• Demonstrated progressive growth in healthcare housekeeping or facility maintenance preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication, listening and empathy, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishes standards and work procedures for Housekeeping staff.
• Plans work schedules and duties to ensure adequate services.
• Interviews, hires, evaluates, and terminates staff per facility standards.
• Orients, trains, and supervises Housekeeping staff.
• Performs regular inspections and recommends actions.
• Coordinates with other departments to schedule activities.
• Manages major project work and inventory of supplies.
• Assists Director with budgets.
