Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, seeks an Assistant Director of Environmental Services to assist the Director in directing and overseeing the operational needs of the hospital housekeeping department. You will coordinate the Operations Managers and serve as a liaison between administration and hospital departments to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history required.
• Strong written and oral communication, listening and empathy, and problem solving skills are essential.
• Demonstrated progressive growth in healthcare housekeeping facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for all Housekeeping staff in accordance with facility policies.
• Plans work schedules, hours, areas of work, and job duties to ensure adequate housekeeping services.
• Interviews, selects, hires, evaluates, and recommends termination of housekeeping personnel.
• Orients, trains, develops and supervises all Housekeeping staff.
• Performs regular inspections and evaluations of the facility; proposes action items.
• Coordinates housekeeping activities with other departments.
• Schedules major project work and ensures staff and supplies are available.
• Maintains inventory of housekeeping supplies and assists with budgets.
