Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking an Assistant Director of Environmental Services to support the Director in overseeing the Hospital Housekeeping Department. You will coordinate Operations Managers and act as liaison between administration and hospital units to deliver exceptional service.

Based in New Jersey, this role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a proven track record in healthcare housekeeping leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history required.
• Working knowledge of housekeeping procedures preferred.
• Demonstrated progressive growth in healthcare housekeeping facility maintenance.
• Strong work ethic and customer service mindset.
• Excellent written and oral communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage staff with budgeting understanding.
• Stress management and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Establishes and reviews standards and work procedures for all Housekeeping staff.
• Plans work schedules, hours, areas of work, and job duties to ensure adequate services.
• Interviews, selects, hires, evaluates, and recommends termination of staff.
• Orients, trains, develops and supervises Housekeeping staff.
• Performs regular inspections and evaluations of the facility and suggests actions.
• Conducts staff meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Schedules major project work with adequate staffing and supplies.
• Conducts regular inventory of housekeeping supplies.
• Assists Department Director with budgets.
