Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager for UNC Nash Hospital in Rocky Mount, NC. This second-shift role will oversee 50 staff across 6 sites, focusing on safety, cleanliness, and patient satisfaction.

You will lead daily operations, guide team development, and ensure high standards while managing resources, performance, and compliance. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with 0-3 years of management experience in a healthcare setting.

• Experience leading environmental services or custodial teams in healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in facilities operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee frontline EVS teams to deliver clean, safe, and welcoming environments across 6 sites.
• Lead a team of 50, manage scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Monitor bed tracking, patient satisfaction, and resource allocation; drive continuous improvement.
• Make hiring/firing decisions and guide budgeting and procurement decisions.
