Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, a 900+ bed academic medical center. The role will oversee the second shift (2pm–11:30pm) and lead a team to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will manage daily operations, payroll, and team engagement while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, 0-3 years of management experience preferred.

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Manager for UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. This is a 900+ bed academic medical center. This is the flagship hospital of UNC Healthcare. Role will oversee second shift (2pm -11:30pm).

This role will support floor care projects, payroll, and lead the team in engagement. Successful candidates will have experience in Environmental Services, Hotels housekeeping and/or Custodial Services, or military service, and excellent customer service.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee frontline teams to deliver exceptional environmental services that prioritize safety, compliance, and efficiency. You’ll manage daily operations, guide team development, and help maintain high standards that create clean, healthy, and welcoming environments.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $64600 per year - $83600 per year
