Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is seeking an Operations Manager (EVS) for 2nd shift at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. You will oversee front-line associates, coordinate service delivery, and act as a liaison between administration and units to ensure high-quality support services.

The role requires 4 years in support services or related fields, at least 1 year supervisory experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 4 years of support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing support role.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a changing environment.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and basic internet skills.
• Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and annually reviews standards and work procedures for staff.
• Plans work and staffing schedules to ensure adequate services.
• Assists in hiring, interviewing, and training of new associates.
• Orients and supervises supervisory/housekeeping staff.
• Conducts inspections and makes recommendations to the facility.
• Monitors monthly reporting of goals and future plans.
• Provides staff education and continuous training.
• Coordinates outside services (e.g., Pest Control, Window Cleaning, Medical and Solid Waste, Document Destruction, and Recycling program).
