Responsibilities

• Follow the 5-Step Cleaning process and departmental procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment and move heavy objects as needed for cleaning.
• Identify medical waste and dispose of regular/medical waste per hospital regulations.
• Escort patients within the Medical Center and assist nursing with lifting when requested.
• Transport deceased patients or residents to morgue.
• Maintain records of assignments and ensure safety and comfort of patients.
