Banner Health is seeking an HME Customer Care Representative to ensure patients receive the right medical equipment on time. You will bridge patients, providers, insurers, and clinical teams to simplify authorizations and pre-certifications, and manage equipment orders with precision.

You will advocate for patients using clinical terminology, identify product alternatives, and collaborate with dispatch and clinical staff to set accurate expectations.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; basic math and literacy skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and hospital operations.
• Proficient with commonly used office software and ability to learn new applications.

Aufgaben

• Handle referrals and order requests for new orders and refills, initiating insurance verification and pre-certifications.
• Build equipment orders from patient records and coordinate services.
• Provide instructions to patients and families regarding products, services, reimbursement and financial responsibility.
• Enter patient intake data and insurance information into the system.
• Coordinate delivery with dispatch, warehouse and clinical staff and set delivery expectations.
• Problem-solve with patients, providers, insurers and clinical staff to coordinate patient needs.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate services.
