Banner Health is seeking registry/per diem Environmental Services staff in Mesa, AZ. The role focuses on cleaning patient rooms and areas to maintain a safe and pleasant hospital environment, with flexible scheduling and day shifts. Experience in EVS preferred; Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required for certain locations.

Qualifications

• Requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision.
• Must interpret and respond to verbal and written instructions; read material safety data sheets.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card is required at hire for specified Banner locations.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming and polishing.
• Empties hampers and transports soiled linen; handles trash and medical waste containers as needed.
• Restocks supplies and maintains cleanliness of equipment; logs usage and reports repairs.
• May perform special projects such as windows washing or wall cleaning; strives for customer service satisfaction.
• Responds to questions from patients, staff and visitors; works under supervision within an environmental services team.
