Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision.
• Interpret and respond to verbal and written instructions.
• Communicate effectively with others by phone and verbally.
• Read and understand MSDS and cleaning chemical instructions; fill chemical ID stickers.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at hire for certain facilities; maintain card.
• Arizona Criminal History Affidavit must be signed at hire.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required at Olive Branch Senior Center.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, polishing) daily.
• Empties hampers, transports soiled linen, trash, and medical waste containers.
• Restocks supplies like toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap in assigned areas.
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment and logs usage; reports repairs.
• May perform windows washing, wall washing, or removing heavily soiled items.
• Responds to questions from patients, staff and visitors; aims for customer service goals.
• Works under supervision at assigned facility/area; serves internal and external customers.
