Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Effective communication with others by phone and in person.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required at time of hire where applicable.
• Prior environment services experience preferred.
• Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming and polishing per policy.
• Empties hampers, trash and medical waste containers, including sharps.
• Restocks supplies such as toilet tissue, towels and soap in all areas.
• Keeps equipment clean and reports repairs; logs usage and protects equipment.
• May perform special projects like window and wall washing.
• Responds to questions from patients, staff and visitors and aims for high customer service.
• Limited to an assigned facility; serves internal and external customers.
