Banner Health in Phoenix, Arizona, seeks a Heavy Trash and Linen environmental services team member to perform cleaning of patient rooms and assigned areas during the day shift. Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with others by phone and verbally.
• Must be able to read and understand MSDS and instructions for mixing and use of cleaning chemicals.

Responsabilités

• Performs cleaning of patient rooms and assigned areas daily.
• Empties hampers and transports soiled linen; empties trash and medical waste containers.
• Inventories, restocks and replenishes supplies such as toilet tissue, paper towels, hand soap, etc.
• Maintains cleanliness of departmental equipment and logs usage; protects equipment from damage.
• May perform special projects such as windows/washing and wall cleaning.
• Responds to questions from patients, staff and visitors; aims for high customer service satisfaction.
• Works under regular supervision within a specific facility/area.
