Banner Health in Page, Arizona, seeks an Environmental Services - Housekeeping Associate to join the team on a per diem basis. The role cleans patient rooms and facility areas, supporting a safe and welcoming environment in a busy hospital setting.

Shifts run 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, or 5:00 PM–10:30 PM, with schedule variations. Prior cleaning experience is preferred, and candidates must meet site health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to interpret and respond to verbal and written instructions.
Effective communication by phone and verbally.
Read and understand material safety data sheets and cleaning chemical instructions.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, polishing) according to policy.
Empties hampers, transports soiled linen, trash, medical waste including sharps.
Restocks supplies (toilet tissue, towels, soap) in all assigned areas.
Maintains cleanliness of equipment and reports repairs; logs equipment usage.
May perform special projects (windows/wall washing, heavy soiled items).
Responds to questions/requests from patients, staff, visitors; aims for high customer service.
Under supervision, serves assigned facility area; supports internal/external customers.
