Job summary

Banner Health is hiring a Housekeeping EVS Associate in Mesa, AZ. This full-time role (40 hours per week) operates on an evening shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and focuses on cleaning patient rooms and facility areas to ensure a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

You will perform a range of cleaning tasks, manage waste and supplies, and assist with special projects while following infection control and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental services or housekeeping is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks: dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming and polishing per policy.
• Empty hampers, trash, and medical waste containers and manage linen.
• Restock supplies like toilet tissue, towels, and soap across assigned areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Assist with special cleaning projects (windows, walls, heavy soiling).
• Answer questions from patients, staff and visitors and provide courteous service.
• Work in assigned facility area under supervision.
