Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of excellent customer service skills with internal/external customers.
• 1+ years of Data entry experience.
• Must be able to type at least 35 WPM.
• Excellent verbal and written communication including spelling, grammar, proofreading and telephone skills.
• Experience with Word and proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Verify enrollment status, update member/client records and address enrollment questions.
• Maintain enrollment databases and coordinate electronic transfer of eligibility data.
• Respond to eligibility issues involving member information and coordinate with clients and offices.
• Apply legislative, policy and benefit parameters to enrollment matters.
• Develop tools and provide coding supplements and specifications to clients/vendors.
• Serve as liaison between clients, vendors and IT to define business requirements for non-standard reporting.
• Ensure transactions interface with downstream systems and validate data files for new or existing clients.
• Coordinate release of eligibility, plan structure and benefit information with team functions.
• Complete setup of policy/eligibility screens to activate processing; code screens to support downstream processes.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance in all client communications and data handling.
