Job summary

The Osborn Engineering Company seeks an Associate Director of Healthcare for the Great Lakes Facilities Division in Detroit, MI. This role leads healthcare engineering projects, drives business development, and collaborates with the Director of Healthcare and divisional leaders to grow healthcare opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in healthcare engineering, experienced with large-scale projects, and a strong grasp of NFPA 99/101, FGI, and CMS accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years in healthcare engineering and facilities design.
• Managed design/execution of construction projects valued at $5M+.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 99/101 and facilities guidelines (FGI) including ASHRAE 170.
• Solid knowledge of Joint Commission standards and CMS accreditation for healthcare owners.
• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality healthcare design.

Responsibilities

• Market Osborn capabilities to healthcare clients in the Great Lakes region.
• Provide technical direction on healthcare design projects.
• Manage client and project teams, coordinating with owners and professionals.
• Develop proposals and manage project contracts including Add Service Agreements.
• Oversee QA/QC and ensure conformance with Osborn standards.
