Job summary

PATHS, LLC seeks an Account Representative in Newark, DE to assist patients and families in securing health coverage, resolve billing issues, and advocate for financial resources. You will ensure compliant documentation and contribute to revenue recovery across multiple states, including travel to client sites.

The role requires HIPAA awareness, strong communication, and accurate data entry, with a schedule supporting our Newark office and occasional travel to Dover and other locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; EPIC/EMR knowledge preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse patients.
• Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality and meet deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to document accurately.

Responsibilities

• Contact patients to complete Medicaid applications.
• Verify patient health insurance information.
• Coordinate with patients, families, employers, banks and state/federal offices for information as needed.
• Document information into required systems accurately.
• Perform duties such as faxing, filing, emailing, and making calls to facilitate applications.
• Provide coverage at hospital facilities, traveling to client locations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
