Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff. You will be the first contact for learners and shape their experience as they transition to Epic.

The role covers instructional design, training materials, and scenarios, with teamwork to design workflow-based content and collaborate with client organizations. A relocation to Madison, WI is reimbursed and travel 25-60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater required.
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days (typical month includes 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days).
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, as well as staff.
• Be the first point of contact for staff and users and guide their Epic transition experience.
• Design and develop training materials and scenarios to be delivered to learners.
• Collaborate with teams to design workflow-based training content and update training approaches.
• Work with organizations to help develop their training and improve software usability.
• Contribute to projects to make Epic software more intuitive and effective.
