Healthcare Digital and Social Media Marketing Specialist

The Digital and Social Media Marketing Specialist is a strategic member of the AIS Healthcare marketing team. They are responsible for a broad range of digital and online marketing activities, which include social media management, website management, email marketing, digital promotion, and SEO. They will oversee and optimize digital marketing and social media initiatives to maximize brand awareness and lead engagement and conversion through various digital channels.

Their primary duties include planning digital and social media campaigns, identifying online and social trends, and using web analytic tools to analyze the performance of marketing campaigns. Their secondary duties include supporting the marketing team in all marketing initiatives, including collateral and documentation updating for the sales team, customers, and healthcare accreditation.

This specialist will have a key role in creating, planning, and managing AIS Healthcare’s marketing campaigns and initiatives on the web, social media, and other digital marketing platforms. They will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Marketing and key stakeholders to develop digital marketing strategies and tactics, social media planning, content generation, collateral development and updating (patient and provider), convention/society engagement, peer-to-peer activities, and similar strategic and tactical executions. In addition, this individual will field travel occasionally to further understand market developments and sales needs and relate this back to marketing ideas. This individual will assist the SVP of Marketing during the strategic planning, tactical, and budget process for the associated marketing/sales projects and activities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business, or related field required.
  • 2-4 years of social media management and content distribution (including internship experience).
  • Experience in a digital marketing or advertising role.
  • Working experience with website analytics, social media platforms, SEM/SEO, and digital advertising best practices.
  • Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies.
  • Ability to provide analytic opportunities based on analytics performance.
  • Experience in marketing/product management/sales in a commercial function of a healthcare company preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all areas of digital marketing & social media distribution, including planning content calendars, scheduling content, management, and optimizing all posts for reach and engagement.
  • Maintain and manage multiple pages on different platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Glassdoor).
  • Monitor all digital and social analytics including website traffic, social media engagement, social media trends, brand awareness, and online reputation.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media and paid media best practices and technologies.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team on campaigns, collateral, and branding to maintain the voice of AIS brand.
  • Utilize market research and other analytics to understand the impact of, and optimize, strategies, messages, and programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create sales/marketing materials that position AIS as leaders in our space.
  • Support identification and development of high-impact digital education and communication material that supports sales and marketing needs and brand strategic objectives.
  • Assist with the development and execution of conference/trade shows across divisions as needed.
  • Manage and coordinate collaborations with key institutions, thought leaders, and outside consultants and agencies.
  • Cultivate professional relationships with key industries, professional groups, or individuals.
  • Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of disease state, clinical, scientific, and marketing/sales tactics.
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, managed care, customer service financial services, pharmacy, nursing, and legal/compliance) to develop, progress, and strengthen marketing and sales offerings.
  • Engage with agency and vendor partners for specific marketing/sales strategies and tactics.
  • Assist the Senior Vice President of Marketing to manage budget spend and activities.
  • Ensure services are in compliance with professional and company policy standards.
  • Share knowledge gained with other staff members and work as a team member.
  • Always represent self in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Comply with all applicable company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Track record and proven ability to prioritize, organize, and effectively execute digital marketing plans.
  • Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Instagram, YouTube. Strong knowledge and experience of all different digital marketing channels, online marketing tools, and best practices.
  • Proficient computer and analytical skills – working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe suite (Photoshop and Illustrator), GA4, GTM, Omniture. Ability to create and edit PDFs.
  • Knowledge of video production and editing programs.
  • Ability to partner collaboratively with internal colleagues and staff.
  • Strong ability to understand both internal and external market environments.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for prioritizing and managing projects to conclusion on time.
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication (oral, written, and presentation), and project management skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and professionally with healthcare providers (including Key Opinion Leaders), patients, and various agencies/consultants.
  • Ability to work in a team environment while also delivering independent results.
  • Resourceful, flexible, and well organized.
  • Demonstrate honest ethical behavior and have sound judgment and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, tight deadline, changing environment.
  • Strong command of the English language; Spanish is an asset.
